The Case of the Hacked Credit Card & Other Stories

1. First glimpse of the house

Okay, this is misleading. Our actual house won't be built until next year (the earliest). So it would be a while before I would be posting photos of our house here. However, the model house is almost ready, and my parents (who are both real estate agents) went to the site last Saturday. I wanted to come, too, but a construction site isn't the most comfy place for a baby, so I begged them to take photos instead:
That's my pop in red.

I'm just glad the windows aren't jalousies. Teehee.

2. The case of the hacked credit card

Yesterday, I told you that my weekend has been pretty uneventful - except for the fact that someone went on a shopping spree using my mom's credit card. It was either it got hacked or some cashier was able to copy the numbers fast. It was my problem, too, because the card was our sort of joint responsibility. My mom blamed me at first because of my reputation as an online shopper, but I swear I always use bank transfer as a method of payment.
Our only legit transactions are the ones with SM Supermarket Lanang and Island Rose. The rest... what the heck?

My Saturday afternoon was pretty much spent on calling BDO and contacting Amazon, ELF and a certain online store based on Bulacan. It was easy to assume that the thief is a Filipina woman. She spent almost 10k in just a span of 2 days. God knows what else she ordered in the days not covered by the bill.

3. Yuri's new toy box

Still, I did not let that dampen my spirits. Of course, during the first hour after we got the bill, I could not stop fretting. It was only after I prayed alone in my room did I feel that everything's gonna be alright.

To take my mind off it, I finally transferred Yuri's toys to a new box. Yay! Hindi na sila masikip! Actually, I bought new boxes almost 2 months ago na but I keep on forgetting. At least ngayon arranged na ang toys and books ng mamang maliit.

Toys and books!
Of course, that's not the way I first arranged it. Yuri has already played and read at this point.

Look what I discovered - our old, old, old digicam!

Hope it stays this way, though!

4. Weekend OOTD

We also went to church without my mama. She begged off because she had a lot of cleaning to do daw. Hokey. Here's what we wore:

My favorite cardigan - hand-me-down from Mama
P90 tank top from the Off-Price Show
River Island Jeans from the Off-Price Show (only P550)
Crocs shoes from Charles Goodies (only P1200)

Yuri had the usual Carter's romper, Baby Gap socks, and his slip-ons (the brand of which I keep on forgetting). We need to level-up!

5. Yuri's first pair of denim jeans - ever

My mom has always been the kuripot one; my dad was the big spender. I am a mixture of both, but when I'm in the mall with Papa, napapasubo talaga ako. Napabili ako ng pants ni yuri ng wala sa oras. Hahaha. But still, it's super cute! And it was on sale at almost 40% off. Sige na nga!

Skinny jeans with folded hem? Hipster?
Baby Mossimo jeans at P685 from P1099

It was my first time to enter Baby Mossimo. Wala kasi yan sa SM. Ang daming cute clothes! I had to remind myself na kakabili ko lang ng clothes ni Yuri from the Off-Price Show.

6. Yaya duties

On Sunday afternoon, I was, again, on-duty as Yuri's yaya. Honey's yaya-ing style was to follow Yuri like his shadow. Ako, I'll just sit on the floor with my camera following Yuri around:
I'll just sit here and watch you.

And, oh! Look! What bird is this? We found it perched on our fence.

How about you? How did you spend your weekend? :-)
