I already told you about Baby Rhory Mae's plight here, but now, I'm knocking on your kind hearts again to ask for donations of any kind for the child. I'm reblogging a part of a post from Marj of Davao Garage here for more information:

We live in Davao for so long to have built our family and home here. We felt it as our social duty to share what we have and do what we can for someone in need who knocks on our hearts. So, we pledge to help baby Rhory and hopefully influence others to share this “social duty” as a community resident of Davao. Rhory’s case is very special. She lost her mommy too soon. She needs a lot of loving mommies to surround her. If we can touch not only mommies, but also daddies and ates and kuyas to show some love for this beautiful soul, we shine so much hope that can give her and her family a lot of strength to fight this battle.

In our previous post, we told you she needs breastmilk to feed her for long term, clothing, diapers, and money to pay for her medicines and hospital bill that costs Php22, 000 a day while she is in the ICU of San Pedro Hospital, Davao City, Philippines. You see, she needs immediate and long term community support because her dad is left to care for three (3) other siblings who are still studying. We cannot sleep well at night while she fights for her life every second, every hour, every day. So, we are launching a city-wide, if possible worldwide campaign we’d like to call #AMommyForRhory. You do not need to be a mommy to participate because a mommy is only a symbol who provides complete care and support for her baby. We encourage everyone to sign up below and be “A Mommy For Rhory” in any of the following ways:

If you are a mommy. Breastfeeding mommies are most needed by Rhory. We’d like to build a mommy community to give Rhory some mommy love but most especially to come together and ensure Rhory’s unlimited supply of breastmilk for long term. We’ve created a group on Facebook and once you sign up, we will add you to the group already and list you at the bottom of this post for reference by others.

If you are a sponsor. If you own a business, a product, service or brand, you can sponsor this website for Php500.00 and we will run your banner ad of 225x225px for 1 full month on the sidebar ad space of this website. This will help Rhory’s hospital bills and medicines while your business gains useful exposure from over 10,000 pageviews and counting. Full amount for 1 month exposure will benefit Rhory so you can deposit the funds directly to the bank account set up for her by her good doctor, Dra. Karen Alabado:

If you are a blogger. If you have a blog, please partner with us. You can help spread the word about Rhory and this campaign. We can build a support group together with the mommy community and as partners, we can co-host campaigns together, co-host events and many other activities. So for this campaign, once you join the partnership, we will list you as a partner at the bottom of this post and we expect you will do the same when you re-blog about this article. This post will be updated with each sign up and every partner will be informed when a new partner has joined the community to update the partner list on each post. For this campaign, we pledged for 1 month of ad space on our website to Rhory’s sponsors, and partners are expected to do the same in order to help raise funds for Rhory’s hospital bill and medical needs.

If you are a volunteer. Anyone and everyone are welcome to volunteer. Volunteers are encouraged to help out with some city errands for baby Rhory: picking up stuff like breastmilk and other donations, spreading the word about our campaign, etc.
