Earlier this year, I promised I would minimize expenses by not buying things we don't really need. However, I think the universe is testing my discipline. A couple of weeks ago, when we bought a new HP ink cartridge, we were rewarded by a P500 discount from Zalora. So I had to order some stuff.
And last week, I saw a Multiply discount coupon worth P250 for baby stuff. It's practically calling out my name! So I guess I'm not a very disciplined person because I immediately looked through trusted Multiply merchants. I swear this is the last time I'm buying something!
I bought something from MeliMeloManila. The package arrived yesterday. Oh, for the love of LBC!
So what does the package contain? I'm telling you; it's not very important.
An Avent toddler cup! And Y is not even a toddler yet! This is not to mention that we have a perfectly working cup that my mom bought for just around P150.
See? It's for 18-month toddlers! My Y just turned 10 months!
Me when making the purchase: Never mind, I'll just keep it until Y is old enough to use it.
Me after making the purchase: HAHAHA. What were you thinking?
But the print is adorable, don't you think? Never mind that we won't be using it - for another half year.
On a more serious note, this is the first time I bought something from Avent. Yes, it is possible for a modern, young mom to not use Avent! Hahaha, I kid. I put off buying expensive bottles for Y because it's part of my ultimate master plan to never let him drink formula. So that put me in a place where I had no choice but to breastfeed, especially when we're out. Which is effective, I guess.
But now, Y is close to weaning away from breastmilk. I have to face the truth that he will be drinking from cups anytime soon. And since his cheap cup is starting to wear out, this Avent may be really useful. I hope.
