Another Sale Sunday! Part 1 - Giligan's

Oh yes, I took advantage of the sales again just this Sunday! I realized this: as long as there's a sale in F21, other stores will have sales, too! And that's completely fab because I don't plan to buy stuff which will be later on sold for a discounted price. I learned my lesson na!

But before I tell you about our new sale finds, I'll tell you about our newest restaurant discovery - Giligan's.

We've always gone to SM Lanang Premier ever since it opened last year. If you read my blog for some time now, you would know that we're always there almost every Sunday. However, we have never ventured out the Sky Garden before for fear that it would be too hot outside. We did not realize that the covered walk would be sufficient to protect us from the sun. Teehee.

Paparazzi shot. Just kidding. On our way to the end of the Sky Garden.

We were amazed at the number of restaurants outside. Where have you been all my life? We wanted to try everything, one at a time, and we decided to try the restaurant at the end of the pathway: Giligan's.

My sister, wearing her new Cotton On sundress, just outside Giligan's.

We forgot to take a photo of the actual restaurant. Oops!

Waiting for our orders... Bored?

(Super pale lips! Ugh! Saan na ba lip balm ko?!)
I wasn't bored. I don't know about Y! Haha!

But wait, super at home sya. Nakapatong pa paa!

Upon entering the restaurant, you can immediately tell that their specialty is seafood. Their theme is nautical (not naughty-cal, you naughty girl!), as can be seen in the decor:

Cozy chairs
This is the decor above our table.

Anyway, here are our orders:

Seafood Pancit Canton - Not the best but oozing with "sahog," like squid rings!
Sinigang na Bangus - Winner daw, according to them.
I wasn't able to eat this because by the time I was done feeding Y, ubos na!
Garlic Chicken - Yummy, in fairness!
Sinugba na Baboy - Too much fat and tough skin, but the pickle on the side is a winner!
Of course, iced tea for everyone

Except for Y - water for you, baby!

I was intrigued by the name of the restaurant because it reminded me of an old television show (1960s anyone?). My mom was attracted to the restaurant because of the price. Haha! But seriously, while the food is not that spectacular, it is filling and gives you great value for your money. If you're hungry and on a budget, then Giligan's is the right place for you. Do you know how much we paid for all that food? Only P650!

Plus, they took quantity seriously. We didn't get to finish all the food so we got to take out some with us! Galing! Finally, service is very, very good. All waiters were very nice and accommodating, we were given a nice high-chair right away, and all of them played with Y!

If you've got children and need to feed an army, I highly recommend this place. Thumbs up!
