Because of this, I have planned to pay this branch (Buhangin branch) a visit. Serendipitously, we got invited last Saturday, July 13, to the launch of the TV show, Jollitown Season 6. And guess where it was held? At Jollibee Buhangin! Serendipity nga!
Aside from Yuri, I brought my sister along because I know she liked to watch Jollitown before. Also, there was no one else left in the house because I also needed the yaya to come with me. She wasn't so keen on being left alone hehe. We were so excited to see what the newest season of Jollitown would offer!
Before anything else, here are some photos we took before leaving the house:
Favorite maroon cardigan, Forever 21 romper, Geneva belt, CLN cap-toed flats |
Smile! (I seriously need eyebrow pencil haha.) |
And upon arriving at the venue:
Waiting for the program to begin |
Some of the early birds |
A little boy kept running all over the place! |
And the program begins!
Ms. Bea of Jollibee Marketing opened the program. She said we were the first in the country to see the premiere! |
And there were games for the kids! |
Little Yuri wanted to join hehe! |
Pyramid stacking - we play this at home! :-) |
And there were games for adults, too! Of course I participated hehehe. Never mind that I look totally "maldita" here - I'm not promise! |
There, I'm smiling na! Although half of my face is hidden hehe |
After that, we were treated to a Jollibee lunch (which, unfortunately, I forgot to take photos of!). My sister was delighted to see lotsa Jolly Spaghetti and Chicken Joy! Our favorites! Plus Sundae Mix-ins pa. Yummy! As usual, I fed Yuri first. By the time I took my lunch, they resumed the program na and let us watch the Season Premiere of Jollitown.
Because I was still eating *excuse me* I gave the camera to my sister. However, she was enjoying the show too much and only got one decent photo:
Talagang nakatalikod pa ang cast. Way to go! |
What I liked best about the new Jollitown is that it is more educational (I loved the part where it teaches kids different languages!) and more interactive (it's now live and kids get the chance to become part of the live audience!). The show also promotes Filipino values like teamwork, friendship, and generosity.
I totally look forward to this show, which will begin airing on July 20, Saturday, on GMA at 8:40 am. Mark your calendars, kids and parents!
Our super cute media kit |
PS: Wondering what the highlight of the program is? It's the appearance of all five mascots of course!
This got the two ladies in my posse jumping! |
Yuri and I weren't able to join the photo sesh because he got afraid of the mascots. Poor boy! So save that little photo on the top right corner, we barely got photos with the mascots. That is until the last minute photo session.
I thought, Bahala na, this is the only time I get a photo with all five mascots!
So Yuri, my sister, and I went in front for the final photo op with the mascots and I gave the camera to the yayey. Of course, the photo had to turn out like this:

Super blurred!!! |
'Nay bakit??!!
Huhu, nakakaiyak talaga. My one and only photo op with all five mascots - hindi na nga complete ang mascots, blurred pa talaga!!! I wanted to fire Honey right there and then - joke!
Seriously, though, who wants that kind of photo? Mabuti pa yung mga photos nya, puro magaganda! #bitter
Pero okay lang because we got to bring Jollibee goodies home with us! :-)
Yuri is so in love with the JABEE stuffed toy! |
They're like bestfriends now! :P |
Thank you so much, Jollibee and Ms. Kezia Romblon of Stratworks for inviting us! We had a blast! :-)
