Anyway, here are the different "conversations" I've had with Yuri that I want to remember:
What does the utot say?Naks! Demure! (More laughing ensues)
Me making large farty noises while Yuri laughs
Me: Pooooot!
Yuri: Hahaha!
Me: Brrrroooot!
Yuri: Hahaha!
Me: Ikaw naman. What does the utot say?
Yuri: (silent for a while, after 5 minutes)

Yuri takes book from me and intentionally turns it upside down:
Me: Baliktad baby
Yuri returns it to its right position. With a tiny voice, he says: Tama?
Me: Yes baby!
Yuri: Yeys! Ayus!

Yuri: Ader (Tigger), nose nose. *rubs noses*Then, before he could rub noses with Octopus, he turned to me in shock.
Yuri: Pooh, nose nose. *rubs noses*
Yuri: Jawi (Jollibee), nose nose. *rubs noses*
Yuri: Opus (Octopus), nose nose.
Yuri: Opus uya (wala) nose! This is the stuffed toy in question:

We recently started selling load here in the neighborhood, and since I was home every day, I was in charge of the actual selling.
It is a good thing I have an assistant...
Me double-checking the customer's number before sending the load: 0922--
Yuri: Tama, tama!

When Yuri was a little newborn baby, I used to sway him back and forth in my arms while humming the lullaby my dad sung to us when we were young (that's around 30 years since he started singing it to my older brother).
My dad claims his parents sung it to him. The funny thing is that NO ONE (as in no one!) knows the song.
Now that Yuri is a toddler, I sometimes kid around and carry him like a newborn and hum the song to him. Then we'd both laugh. Recently, when I do that, he goes:
Ya ya ya ya yaaa
He sings the age-old lullaby! So adorable, believe me! Haha

There was also one bedtime when we were practicing our I-love-yous.
Me: Repeat after me, Yuri. I...Me: Isa pa. I...
Yuri: I...
Me: Love...
Yuri: Wuv...
Me: You!
Yuri: You!
Yuri opened his mouth to say "I" but let out a huge burp instead! We both could not stop laughing after that.

Yuri also "gets" pretend play now. Whenever he sees the page from The Very Hungry Caterpillar with the different foods, he "picks" the food he likes, "eats" it, and says: Yummy! Sawap!

He also likes the first page of the same book, the one with the dotted pattern. Yuri picks one of the circles, eats it, and says:
Em em ems (M&Ms) sawap!

Aside from the funny stuff, my little boy is turning out to be an affectionate child.
On some mornings, Yuri wakes up earlier than me...
Yuri: Mama, mamaSometimes, when he's playing, he would stop out of the blue, go near me, and get inside the crook of my arm and say:
(I open my eyes and smile)
Yuri (smiling a toothy grin): Umoying! (Good morning!)
Tabi tayo. And, the sweetest Yuri-ism of all (so far)...
