So let's begin with another restaurant post, this time, featuring Sunburst Fried Chicken, Abreeza.
And after 4 years, I was finally able to try Sunburst again a couple of weeks ago!
We were in Abreeza, looking for somewhere to eat, when we spotted a banner saying that Sunburst Fried Chicken had just opened, and since the elders love it, we decided to eat lunch there.
Grilled Tanguigue at P228
Double Thigh - I forgot the exact price, but it must be around P150 - P160.
We also ordered soup - I think it was lomi - but I forgot to take a picture. I think it was P110.
VERDICT:
Place - It's very convenient for mall-goers like me. Also, the place itself is spacious, clean, and "maaliwalas." Reminiscent of other tenants in Abreeza actually!
Food - I can't complain about the food. There's nothing extraordinary about it, but they're delicious in their own right, especially the chicken.
I just don't like the cole slaw. It was sweet and watery and I prefer my cole slaw thick and savory.
Price - The food is really affordable. I think the chicken meal is perfect for students and those who want to save because for just about P160 (for the thigh part), you get to have rice, potato wedges, cole slaw, and two big cuts of chicken.
That's right. Two. Sulit!
I'm not sure if I recommend the Tanguigue, though. I think it was overpriced for P228 with just a slice of fish and rice. The fish meal at Sea Green had a whole fish in it (lapulapu) for P260. Organic pa. If you want to eat fish, go to Sea Green.
But if you find yourself hungry in Abreeza, and you love chicken, then try Sunburst Fried Chicken! It's better than eating at just another fast food chain. :D
