Kasalang Filipino 2014 in Davao

I've always been fascinated with weddings. I seriously don't know any girl who isn't! Like many girls, I spent some hours daydreaming on what my wedding dress would look like, where I would get married (a garden!), which of my friend would be there, and of course, what my groom would look like. I kinda know most of the answers already, but I'm still waiting for that day to come! :D

So when I found out that a big wedding expo would come to the city , you bet I was interested! You see, I recently found out that it's Davao City's turn to host the Kasalang Filipino expo, which will be this weekend (July 25-27) at Abreeza Mall. Davao’s turn has come.

After General Santos, Angeles City, and Subic have shown what they have got to be in the list of most wanted wedding destinations in the Philippines, it is now Davao’s turn to amaze everyone and showcase its local wedding industry through the fourth leg of the nationwide wedding and tourism fair roadshow—Kasalang Filipino sa Davao 2014.

This year’s Kasalang Filipino sa Davao is happening from July 25 to 27 at the Abreeza Mall. Both established and new wedding suppliers in Davao and nearby areas are expected to display exhibit their craftsmanship and creativity in the duration of the three-day fair. They will showcase the latest wedding trends that can inspire couples. These exhibitors will also offer special promos and discounts to couples who are going to book during the event.

Several activities have also been lined up to make the annual event more exciting. The opening of the event will be on July 25, 2014. On the same day, there will be Tupperware Weddings: A Wedding Table Presentation Competition sponsored by Tupperware Brands Philippines. Five participants will showcase their talents and come up with unique and creative wedding table presentations using Tupperware Products.

On July 26 , 2014, on the other hand, Ever Bilena Cosmetics’ Gandang Pinay Bridal Makeup Contest will be heldwhere professional and amateur makeup artists will take the challenge and come up with a bridal look that showcases true Pinay beauty.

There will also be raffle draws before the closing of the event on July 27. Lucky couples and guests can win exciting prizes. The top three exhibitors with the most number of bookings will be recognized through the Best Booth Award.

Kasalang Filipino is open to public. It's free admission.

Kasalang Filipino sa Davao is the fourth leg of Kasalang Filipino 2014, the 9th run of this nationwide bridal fair and tourism roadshow. It works with the different key cities in the Philippines and gathers the hottest wedding suppliers in the country in order to promote the local wedding industry. At the same time, it also helps to-be weds from the participating cities to be updated in the latest wedding trends and give them more options that can help them as they plan their own weddings.
